The CSI focus with regards to Community Services incorporates improved wellbeing and increased accessibility to services. A wide range of recreational facilities are provided through two RSSC owned country clubs, as well as through other facilities that are located within the villages.
The RSSC provides sponsorship for cultural, national duties and sporting activities. Participation in all the recreational and cultural activities is open to employees’ dependants and the community members residing within the RSSC Sugar Estates.
A new state of the art Wellness Centre at Mhlume opened its doors in 2011. This much needed facility will go a long way in addressing Body Mass Index (BMI) issues and stress relief.
Welfare services are offered to employees, dependants and members of community.
