In its 32⁺ years in the sugar business - and, more recently, ethanol manufacturing - the Royal Swaziland Sugar Corporation (RSSC) has established itself as a world class producer of sugar and related products.  It is listed on the Swaziland Stock Exchange and, with a turnover exceeding E1.9 billion per annum, is the largest business concern in Swaziland.  It employs over 3,500 people, has two irrigated sugar estates - Mhlume & Simunye - whose combined land under cane cultivation is approximately 20,000 hectares.  It operates two sugar mills, a refinery and distillery.  Located in North-Eastern Swaziland (2 hours from Nelspruit and 5 hours from Durban, RSA), RSSC provides excellent housing  on the estate, recreation facilities, with all the associated infrastructure, support services, clinics and schools,  where employees and their families enjoy a tranquil country environment.
